Othello rules ============= Othello is played with two-colored discs. Players alternate turns. Black goes first. A move consists of placing a disc with your color facing up on an empty square which is adjacent to a disc already on the board. A move location is valid if a string of opponent discs is bracketed by the new disc. Bracketed discs are then flipped in all 8 directions. The game ends if neither player has a move. A player has to pass when no legal is available to him. The score of the game is the disc differential. The player with the disc majority wins. If the game ends before the board is full the remaining empty squares are assigned to the winner.
